Umeboshi and miso were most effective for them.

Japanese traditional healthy vegan food

Umeboshi

  • Effective against radiation exposure
  • Neutralizes blood oxidation and is
  • extremely effective in recovering from fatigue
  • Has strong bactericidal properties
  • Makes reflexes quicker
  • Activates metabolism and
  • metabolizes waste products

Umeboshi are used as a filling for rice balls.

Foreigners find it too sour and salty to eat, so we use umeboshi as a secret ingredient in our dishes.

Why umeboshi is effective against radiation exposure?

Radiation is extremely Yin (diffusion  /centrifugal force) and destroys blood and cells.

Umeboshi is extremely yang (condensation/centripetal force) and tightens cells.

In other words, umeboshi have the effect of preventing the destruction of cells and blood caused by radiation.



Miso

We use the highest quality Nori. It is six times more expensive than the Nori used by conveyor-belt sushi and convenience stores.

Nori contains nutrients that vegans tend to lack

Viamin B12

Of the nutrients contained in nori, one that vegetarians should pay particular attention to is vitamin B12.

It is a blood-forming vitamin that increases iron absorption and acts to produce red blood cells, and it also helps repair the brain and nerves.

Vitamin B12 is found in large amounts in meat, seafood, and dairy products, but is almost never found in vegetables.

A deficiency can make you susceptible to anemia, which can cause lethargy, dizziness, numbness in the hands and feet, stiff shoulders, lower back pain, neuralgia, eye fatigue, and impaired concentration and memory.

EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)

It is a component found in the lipid part of blueback fish.

EPA is hardly found in plant-based foods. However, Nori contains 1.2g of EPA per 100g.(The recommended daily intake is 1600-2000mg.)

It is important for maintaining healthy blood vessels and blood.

EPA has effects such as

Nori is rich in

Kurumafu

Japanese traditional vegan protein, wheat gluten, made from high-quality whole wheat.

We are located just in front of JR Saga Arashiyama station.

You can see the three-story brown building from the station.

It's the third building from the station.


From Subway


Please transfer to the JR line at Nijo Station, and get off at Saga Arashiyama station.


From Golden Temple


If you are coming from Golden Temple, it is a 20 minute train ride.

Take the Keifuku Line and change to the train bound for Arashiyama at Katabiranotsuji Station.

Get off at Randen Saga Station.


From Randen Saga sta., you can see JR Saga-Arashiyama sta. at the end of the road.


Hankyu line


It takes about 20 minutes on foot from Hankyu Arashiyama Station to JR Saga Arashiyama Station. The path has a great view and is a pleasant walk.
